Alberto Ferrara

Alberto Ferrara is a PhD student at the University of Palermo, under  the supervision of Rosario Lo Franco. He is currently visiting the RIKEN  research center for a long-term traineeship at the Theoretical Quantum Physics Laboratory” led by Franco Nori group. His research focuses on the dynamics of open quantum  systems and their applications in quantum memory, as well as the control  of light–matter interactions in optomechanical architectures. These studies aim to enhance coherence preservation and information storage for scalable quantum technologies.
